MODERN DAY RITES OF PASSAGE

NICO KLADIS

How can rites of passage help illuminate the wider work of cultural repair?

The wise ones say we are going through a time of great transition- an initiation, both collective and very personal. The polycrises is a crisis of meaning and belonging and the illusion of separation fuels the ecological crises that affects the whole living world as well as our non-human-kin.

What does rites of passage even mean? What are we being initiated into?

What would it look like to revitalize rites of passage as an integral part of our human story, both individually and culturally for the great work of cultural repair?

This mytho-somatic inquiry is for you whether new to the topic, well on your own journey or interested in rites of passage and mentorship for youth and young adults.
